    JR shooting 06/05/09 Update

JR has been putting up some big numbers during his Energy games. We recently met up and had a chance to talk. His immediate goal is to bring home an IBL championship to the city! NOW THOSE ARE SOME PRETTY BIG WORDS… but there it is a GOAL….The ENERGY look to be contender this season. At the time of writing they are 8-2. The bad news… play offs are taking place during the first week of camp so JR may not be available. The good news, there is a break and he will be there for the second week.

If you have not seen a game there is still time! (and by the looks of the small crowds not many of you have!! )Check out the action Saturday June 13 7:15 PM at GMCC downtown. This is a pretty amazing team with lots of talent. Many players on the Energy have their basketball roots here in Edmonton. Now I see the Energy has signed a U of Calgary player! How long before Calgary will want their own team!

If you register for one week of our camp between June 8 and 13 2009 I will buy you one ticket for Saturday’s June 13th Energy game Call me at the office 903 7031!!!!!

JR Patrick is back in Edmonton.

JR has returned home from playing Pro Ball in France. Currently he is preparing for another season with the EDMONTON ENERGY, Edmonton’s new IBL team. This is great news for Edmonton Sports Camps as JR has agreed to once again join our coaching staff.
JR was a big hit last year with our campers. Elementary campers were able to score some much sought after autographs, Junior and Senior campers benefited from JR’s ability level. You can check around on our site to see some pictures of JR at last years camps.
