Coach Riar Mr. Riar

Coach Riar has attained many highlights during his Basketball coaching career. Coach R has his level 3 coaching certification and has coached Team Alberta at the Canada Summer Games. Coach Riar excels at team building and motivating his athletes with a clear vision of unity and accomplishing together what can not be done as individuals. Coach Riar is known for his innovation in games specific drills. Most recently coach R’s community team won both the city’s and the provincial championship for their age group at the “A” level.

Coach Jensen Coach Jensen X & O's
Mr. Jensen is famous for taking athletes in any sport, building competency in the basic skills and producing fantasticly competitive teams. During his Basketball coaching career Coach Jensen has coached at the Junior High, and High School level and remains a committed Physical Educator. Coach Jensen is currently active in coaching at DS McKenzie Jr High School.

Coach Candler Coach Candler Known for his legendary basketball program at Vernon Barford Junior High. “Big C” has developed many many players both boys and girls that have gone on to excellence at Harry Ainlay and the University of Alberta. Coach Candler is one of the long time corner stones of Jr. High basketball in Edmonton. “Big C” finish with yet another city title. His Vernon Barford girls team won the city championship again this year. Rumor has it this (’08) was his last year of coaching at VB.

JR PATRICK jr JR joins the ESC coaching staff for the ‘08 summer camps. JR has been exposed to a variety of coaches from Edmonton’s Eastglen High School all the way up to the NCAA’s Santa Clara University. A fan favorite as an Edmonton CHILL player, he brings a wealth of knowledge and current practical experience to our camps. Most importantly JR represents to our campers an example of just how far a dream can take you. Coach Patrick is currently readying himself for an NBA try out. After the NBA summer league he will try out for the Toronto Raptors.
